不一定全部都是辣的，有华人餐啦，在宿舍旁边就有~

如果说UMT宿舍附近的话目前是只有一间卖华人餐的，其余的多数是mamak档，所以辣的食物会比较多。宿舍附近目前是没有华人开的商店的，但是其实宿舍附近是有马来人经营的文具店，影印复印店，租车服务等等的。

通常大家都会选择走路或骑脚车，毕竟登大校园并不很大，可是宿舍外也有vansapu，可以在我们去上课，可是要付钱，一趟是四毛。。。 :)

是在UPU网站上影印下来的，那边有link,你可以到政府医院或者是私人诊所检查，只要是pegawai perubatan就可以了...没有指定的医院

水的话……宿舍楼下有卖水的机器。
或者可以从流理间的水龙头那里拿水去煮。

是的..建议若不方便带太多东西的话..shampoo,洗衣粉那些可以先带小瓶装...到了那里才买大瓶装....
洗衣桶,晒衣架,甲衣架那些..报到当天宿舍楼下都可以买得到的...到了那里才买也行...
提醒若不要你的大行李箱浦尘的话..可以带两个大垃圾袋.包了再把它放上橱柜上... ;)
还有..带个环保袋...冲凉装衣服才方便挂丫.......^^

新生是不被允许 Tangguh Pengajian 的，除非是因为健康问题。

但是！！！我那年有一个同学也是申请TANGGUH PENGAJIAN,他的理由是家里出现问题（爸爸意外）后来他向校方提出申请Tangguh Pengajian,结果被批准了～
所以你要去尝试向校方申请，后来还要看校方的决定～

看个人而异，本人一个学期可用上700零吉 :P哈哈。。。可是我又听说过有人只用400-500（佩服 :o！）。其实那要看很多因素，
1）食物-算它一天十块（MIN）
2）生活费-每次进城买东西大约是100（AVERAGE）
3）买课本-一本大约RM100左右（当然也有便宜的）
4）飞机票/车票
大概是这样吧。。。 ;D 其实如果你节约的话，就不怕会用太多了。一个月的话因该是RM200-300吧。。。
这是个人的经验，不一定准确。
学费在SURAT TAWARAN已写明。学费宿舍费是一学期才交一次

学费是依科系而不同的。登大的学费基本上可分为三个， RM 870, RM 940, RM980 / 学期 .. Diploma 生的是 RM 536 / 学期 （全部外国生的学费不同）
报名费 RM 100
Orientation Week RM 200
Ko-ko RM 150
宿舍费
4 orang per bilik - RM 357.00/semester/pelajar
3 orang per bilik - RM 476.00/semester/pelajar
2 orang per bilik - RM 595.00/semester/pelajar
第一个学期需要付的费用相当的高因为包含了以上的一切费用
其后的学费会保持平衡，除非你是住在宿舍里，不然你不用付宿舍费了
生活费刚开始时是会很贵的，因为什么都没有，什么都要买。。几个月过后，该买的都已经买了，那时的生活费就会降低很多了

有提供，可是要申请。
申请宿舍有四大途径：
1。CGPA高过3.5
2。join很多asrama活动，收多多kupon and hepa sticker
3。学校的制服团体，如：palapes, suksis或者当MKK， MPP
4。under kebudayaan, eg: join voice of harmony

可以说是好坏参半~

宿舍的水电费已算在宿舍费里；住外面要还房租，水电费，还有streamyx费用。
住宿舍要讨论功课可以在new cafe，省时省油；住外面要驾车到某个地点讨论，浪费时间+车油。
宿舍有gelanggang serbaguna，想打球直接就可以下去；住外面想打球，总不能在家里面打吧！
住宿舍，有功课不会或资料不够要去图书馆，走路就可以到；在外面还要驾车从外面进来。
暂时只想到这么多。
别问我住外面的好处，我就是觉得没啥好处才会一直申请住宿舍。

可以穿圆领的，不过要穿多一件jacket在外面。

通常都不可能发生的，除了选修课之外（因为都有固打 - kuota ）。在第一个学期，只有课外活动是需要选而已的，会有一天大家聚在一起，然后轮流去填写您想要的课外活动的。先到先得，迟到的，满了的，就得选其他的了。
注：几乎全部科系的第一个学期都是科系/大学必修课。如您想要的是选修课（如语文课）的话就另当别论。

local university oso gt free wifi but her U block some of the website and she has
difficulty to search information through internet... is our U has the same problem?
our U wifi is slow or moderate? if i wanna use broadband in UMT, which 1 will u sugguest?
Maxis Broadband or Celcom broadband or Digi broadband? thx for helping... ^^

ya, our u also block some of the website but for certain website it just block for a certain time only. the speed is moderate but if many person use it, it will become slow. about the broadband, u have to check the coverage first, which brand??? erm...is ur choice, all is good...hehe...(i m not broadband user)

In UMT, the online Speed is depend on the coverage, location, type of user and number of user.
As Ernest said, it block certain web site only, unless you wanna go to some adult website etc. but most of the web site UMT did not block, so it would not be a problem for searching for the information that you need.
For the broadband, you may compare the pakages that provided by the companies. so far all these braodband that you stated above have certain amount of user in UMT, in other word that all have the coverage in most of the UMT area.

as i know, malay mostly use celcom.. chinese mostly use celcom or hotlink.. both also got user.. but about the popularity of the user, i believe none of us know it.. as the friends nearby us are all diff. some support digi, some support hotlink etc.
I stay outside of UMT, most of my friends are using TM-net, local.. so.. good luck la.. hehe.. ^^

my yuran pengajian written in the form is 1390.00 and yuran asrama is 357.00 and the total is 1747.00

actually your yuran pengajian (RM1390.00) is included the yuran tidak berulang for the first semester. For the next semester you only need to pay RM 940.00 for your yuran pengajian. For the yuran asrama, you have to pay every semester(for the semester you are staying in the hostel).

actually your yuran pengajian (RM1390.00) is included the yuran tidak berulang for the first semester. For the next semester you only need to pay RM 940.00 for your yuran pengajian. For the yuran asrama, you have to pay every semester(for the semester you are staying in the hostel).

不要烦那么多，烦那么多就会很快老的。。要天天开心啊朋友。。
不会很远啦。。其实你指的远。。是有多远先？因为通常登大学生都是驾车 / 租车 / 租 Van Sapu 去的。。
但，想提醒您的是。。登嘉楼的 fair 不会很大而已的，不像西马那些大城市的那样。。

can i ask something? do we need to print many things for assignment and etc...? i heard my fren said her fren study in utar print many things in a month... i wonder local u does too... if realli need print many things then do we need to bring along a printer? o.0 it sound a bit 夸张 but my fren ask me so i wanna noe oso...

it is depend on your course and lecturers de..
1) nearby hostel (just next to hostel) got many printing shop.. (cheapest RM0.07 per printed pieces)
2) some of the student who staying in hostel also doing printing service.. (more exp.)
3) for most of the assignment, yes, it do need to print it out..
4) many assignment is also in group..
5) if you wanna to bring printer along to UMT, also can de.. it is not been prohibited.. ^^

Matematik kewangan no need to print much except for notes and assignments, but assignments are not given that often in mathematic courses and the notes senior will give you all, so u might not need to print out yourself, the notes are posted online in our UMT academic website called MyLearn, so you will have a soft copy too. So u can choose not to bring along the printer. However, having a printer do saves lots of troubles :). Instead, you might need quite alot of blank papers or notepads as we do lots of mathematic tutorials (exercises). Again, as Vinclam said, all depends on you, you have the right to decide. Wish u all the best. :)

Everyone's definition for the word "safe" is different, what other people meant to be safe might not mean the same to you. There's no 100% guarantee that your laptop won't be stolen, but some taking safety measurement is better than none. For me, yes, i think it's quite safe. I did lock my laptop inside the wardrobe last time during orientation week and it did'nt get stolen. It depends on you actually, whether you want to carry it or lock it. ;)

colar n formal shirt both also can.
during the orientation week, fasi will tell u what to wear, the shirt will be given while u register.
after registration, u can go out buy the thing u want then come back before orientation start.
ya, inside or outside campus got laundry service.

其实衣服的费用已经算在你的报名费了。衣服是等你到报名那天校方才会分发，到时候你可以选择适合你的size~

学费是依科系而不同的。登大的学费基本上可分为三个， RM 870, RM 940, RM980 / 学期 .. Diploma 生的是 RM 536 / 学期 （全部外国生的学费不同）
报名费 RM 100
Orientation Week RM 200
Ko-ko RM 150
宿舍费
4 orang per bilik - RM 357.00/semester/pelajar
3 orang per bilik - RM 476.00/semester/pelajar
2 orang per bilik - RM 595.00/semester/pelajar
第一个学期需要付的费用相当的高因为包含了以上的一切费用
其后的学费会保持平衡，除非你是住在宿舍里，不然你不用付宿舍费了
生活费刚开始时是会很贵的，因为什么都没有，什么都要买。。几个月过后，该买的都已经买了，那时的生活费就会降低很多了
就如真慰学长所说的，生活费是依人而异的。。

你并没有机会选房间，是学校安排的。要看你的运气。
你可能会被分到两人一房，但是必须要看新生人数。前年跟去年，新生人都是四人一房，我猜今年也不例外。
宿舍一住就是一年（2 个semester), 同样没得选。
并没有改装，因为是给女生senior住的。
如果要选的话，必须等到第二年，而且必须是女的。男的只住四人一房，不管senior junior.
*备注：房间的分配每年都回更动。

最重要要有礼貌~穿着方面也很重要~要注意讲师是prof还是doctor~称呼也是蛮重要的~有些讲师要你make appoinment才能去见他~

黑色长裙是用来搭配学校给你的上半身的baju kurung，其余需要穿formal的场合时可以穿长裤的。
如果你要baju kurung 配长裤的话。。。so far 我没看过，所以也不知道行不行
