Yea I am pretty sure that I'm going to get Physics according to past year stats on quansheng. I have 4.0 and 80+ co-curricular marks so I'm pretty confident.
Actually this thread is pretty irrelevant already because just yesterday I got the news that I won a scholarship for me to study at UCL. I've got offers from several UK unis already including Imperial College London, UCL, Edinburgh and some other unis already so actually now the UPU results don't really matter.
And now I'm actually more worried about my prior preparation since competition at top unis are more stiff. I really want to get a 1st and not put the scholarship to waste. I'd really appreciate if any current students can advise me on the books they are using in their 1st year. Now I'm doing some preparation with Fundamentals of Physics by Halliday, Resnick, Walker and also the Young/Freedman book. What books do you all use for mathematical methods?
Thank you for your reply! This forum is kinda dead..
